Russ has dedicated most of his life to volleyball, excelling as both a player and coach. His passion for the sport is incredible, and he continually strives to enhance his coaching skills. For the past 25 years, Russ has been a valued member of the Louis Riel School Division, serving as the Athletic Director and Physical Education Specialist at Glenlawn Collegiate.

• Nine-time South Central Athletic Conference (SCAC) Champions

• Junior Varsity Boys Provincial Champions in 2000 and 2022

• Varsity Girls Provincial Finalists in 2002 and 2004, and Provincial Final Four in 2015

• Coach of the Year in the AAAA girls category through Volleyball Manitoba in 2015

• Winman 15u boys National Tier 1 silver medalist in 2016

• Winman 16u boys National Tier 1 gold medalist in 2017

• Manitoba Provincial Team 17u boys Head Coach in 2017

• Many players have gone on to play college, university, and pro volleyball.
